As an active member of the international Coaching Federation, I am privileged to attend many education seminars and events. Last week I had the pleasure of attending Best Practices: Designing Impact Metrics for Coaching in Organizations presented by  Robert Garcia, MCC, and Sheila R. Carmichael, MCC.  It was amazing.  Sharon is the EY’s Americas Executive Coach and Leadership Strategist.  Sharon explained that during the interview process prospective new hires now frequently ask when they will get their coach.  Companies recruiting in a competitive hiring environment now offer coaching as an incentive to join that organization. In coaching we call that a shift in perspective.
